Effective Immediately (04/25/2009)
NO ONSIGHT REGISTRATION. Pre-register for the event or wait until the next promotional. Going up for promotion should not be a last minute decision. Commit to going up for promotion with the entry form and study.
NO PROMOTIONS WITHOUT EXAMINATION. No judoka participating as “competition only” will be considered for promotion. If you want to be considered for promotion, sign up for the promotions.
ALL DOCUMENTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ADVANCE. If documentation is not submitted, the promotion will not be considered. This includes a record of your points, kata scores, membership, certifications, and forms. Please turn the documentation in on time. If you need more time for your documentation (i.e. you need to have your kata graded, you plan on competing between the entry for date and the promotional, …) then you can use the 2 week grace period for documentation. You must send in the entry from on time with an explanation of what documentation is missing, and when you plan on submitting the missing data. Supporting Data may be turned in up to 2 weeks after the entry form deadline.
